Schools Under Trees and Emergency Interventions Programme(SUTEmIP) was established to facilitate the provision of the Best Environment for Teaching and Learning across the country. Schools Under Trees and Emergency Interventions Programme, an initiative of His Excellency President John Evans Atta-Mills, started in August 2009. The project provides educational facilities in all the regions of the country. By November, 2012, a total of 580 projects were initiated in the Brong Ahafo, Volta and Eastern Regions, with 220 completed.
