Christ The King Soup Kitchen Counselling Session

UnleashYou seeks to provide psychological services to all Ghanaians. As a community friendly organisation, UnleashYou executes its social responsibility projects through the UnleashYou Foundation. The goal of the foundation is to extend our services to the most vulnerable and marginalised groups in our society.

As such in 2018, we partnered with Rev. Father Campbell and Christ the King soup kitchen to provide counselling and mentor-ship services to the street children whom are catered during the soup kitchen program. The partnership was necessitated by the high turnover of street children who were integrated into school or vocational training back onto the streets of Accra. Again by an increase in drug use amongst street child who patronised the soup kitchen.

UnleashYou has professionals with years of experience in providing psychological counselling services to clients with drug use problems and providing career guidance services to clients. Through our social responsibility projects, our are lending their expertise to the street children of the Christ the King Soup Kitchen.

Since the beginning of this partnership, we have integrated several of these street children into school or vocational training with continuous follow up to ensure they are making good progress. Due to this, turnover among the street children who are integrated has greatly reduced and we are looking to continue our partnership with the Christ the King Soup Kitchen for many years to ensure that the street children of Christ the King Soup Kitchen become benefits to themselves and society at large.
